Greetings! My name is Kristy Pottle and I have been lucky enough to live in the beautiful state of Maine my entire life. I was born and raised in Lincolnville Maine where I spent the majority of warm days outside climbing old gnarled apple trees, exploring the woods or just laying in the grass watching the clouds float by. Maine still has that old timey feel, cold winters to spend inside making stew and summer breezes drawing you out into the sunshine. I now live in Belfast Maine and it is the shining gem of the state listed number 12 on the list of 35 of the world’s best places to travel in 2017!
Over the years I’ve made a lot of connections with some pretty amazing people. My first real job in the tourist industry began at the Elms bed and breakfast where I served breakfast, cleaned rooms and greeted guests for check in. From there I began to care-take homes while the owners were away, sometimes for the whole winter. Some of the homes were modest carriage houses while some were sprawling summer homes like the amazing Nonesuch Farm atop a windy blueberry hill owned by the daughter of Stanley Marcus.
Currently I manage 3 rentals and I love all aspects of it truly, can you believe making up a fresh comfy bed and fluffing pillows for new guests thrills me? Airbnb has made the booking and payment end of vacation rentals a snap and it frees up more of my time to do the hands on works. I’m a hard worker, aim to please and certainly don’t mind getting my hands dirty. Cleaning
I will make sure the rental space is spic and span between guests. I will change and wash linens, vacuum and clean with environmentally safe products. *excludes closing/winterizing rental and opening and landscaping.
Greeting guests
I will handle all correspondence with the guests and meet them at the property to welcome them and tell them any special instructions about your property. I will also make sure they have my number should they need assistance with anything during their stay.
